Most of the transmission routes are transmitted by droplets (droplets formed when coughing and sneezing), but also by contact, fecal-oral transmission, and invasion of the human body through the respiratory mucosa of the mouth, nose, and eyes. There is currently no evidence that 2019-nCov is airborne.

The incubation period of the virus can be up to 14 days, during which it is also infectious.
